Day 11: Visit Way Fruit Farm

Day 11: Visit Way Fruit Farm

According to the Way Fruit Farm website, six generations of the Way family have lived on and worked the Way Fruit Farm. In 1826, Robert and Martha Way purchased the land that has become the Way Fruit Farm. Today's farm boasts a bakery and cafĂ©. There is also plenty of new retail space where you’ll find fruits, and local vegetables, meats, cheeses, milk, bulk food items, canned preserves, apple butter, pickles, relishes, and salsas.

Each year, the farm also hosts various festivals:
  • Fruit tree trimming workshop (April)
  • Apple blossom festival (May)
  • Apple Cider Demonstration Day (1st Saturday of Oct, 9am-4pm)
  • Fall festival (2nd-3rd Saturday of Oct, 9am-4pm)
Check out there website for directions, hours, contact information, and additional information.
