Check out the State College Area Municipal Bands Winds of War and Peace Veteran's Day Concert this weekend at the State College Area High School South Building Auditorium, on Sunday, November 14 at 3:00 PM. Admission is free, but donations are welcome. The Municipal Band was formed in 1976. Dr. Ned Deihl, the Principal Conductor since Spring 1996, and about 80 amateur and semi-professional band members selected for balanced instrumentation perform four indoor concerts annually. Repertoire ranges from pops to standard band classics, including overtures, transcriptions and marches. EVERYONE is welcome!
